Make sure the person that is monitoring your phone has downloaded the TicTocTrack monitoring app via their App Store
Once they have created their account the will need to subscribe to a mobile phone subscription and add your device's mobile number after which you will receive an SMS with your verification code to pair your phone with the TicTocTrack monitoring app. For more help with this call our customer service team on 1300 872 256
Check the following:
Your phone has enough battery to enable location services to keep running.
Your app is running in the back ground and has not been closed fully.
You have not turned on 'Stop location Updates' in the settings section on the iStaySafeAlert app.
You have not updated your iStaySafeAlert app to the most recent version.
Press button to stop beeping at any time. The device beeps when back in range and reconnected.
Sounds from the button can be switched off. Note that you will not receive sound notifications that the button is out of range.
Use the provided button opener to change the battery. Using anything else may damage the case and will void your warranty.
The button opener disc has a small 'key' section which fits into the small slot along the battery seam. Place the key into the slot and turn the key to pry open the two button case sections. Take care not to lose any internal parts, especially the rubber liner which forms the waterproofing. The case sections do separate from the internal workings.
Replace the battery and ensure that the internal section is facing the correct way for the button to action before closing the button case sections.
Be sure to dispose of the battery button thoughtfully. Battery buttons are a hazard for small children.
Try the following
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on in your phone Un-pair any old button devices and take them more than 50 meters away from your mobile.
If the button is new, ensure that you have activated the button by pressing the button for 5 seconds so see the blue lights flash and the device 'beep'.
Bring the button close to the phone until you see it appear in the 'available devices' section under the iStaySafeAlert settings.
If you do not see the device available try previous steps again.
|Instead of the map on the home screen there is a message "Google Play services are updating". Google Play Services keeps your apps updated and running smoothly on Android devices and this is a known issue with Google Play Services for location based services apps on Android devices.
